Revolve is a looping animation made in collaboration with sound designer Nicola Perikhanyan.
It portrays a novel perception of death.
Taking inspiration from Eastern culture, the animation showcases an abstract representation of life and death according to Buddhist beliefs.
The animation is divided into three sections:
Underworld, Life and Enlightenment.
It has the intention of being watched as a loop to accentuate the idea of Samsara.
Revolve is a collaborative project with the Royal College of Art, Imperial College and Nanyang Technological University curated by Aura Murillo. The film exists in two formats: an audiovisual installation and a regular film created for a 15x2 meters long screen for Media Art Nexus.
It premiered at OneRoom Gallery in London on the 20 of January 2022.
